PPH ball valve is a valve with PPH (homopolymer polypropylene) as the main material, with unique performance and structural characteristics. The following is a description of it:
PPH material has excellent corrosion resistance and can resist the erosion of various chemical media such as acids, alkalis, salts, etc. It also has good wear resistance, insulation and low density. It is also non-toxic and odorless, and meets the relevant standards of the food hygiene and pharmaceutical industries. realize the opening and closing operation to meet the control requirements under different working conditions.
• Strong corrosion resistance
• Good sealing performance
• Low fluid resistance
• Easy to operate
• Hygienic and environmentally friendly
• Long service life
• Light weight
The working principle of the PPH ball valve is to open and close the valve by rotating the ball, thereby controlling the on-off and flow of the fluid. The details are as follows:
• Open state: When the circular through hole of the ball is aligned with the axis of the pipeline, the valve is in the open state. At this time, the fluid can pass through the through hole of the ball without hindrance and flow from one end of the pipeline to the other end.
• Closed state: The ball is rotated 90° by the valve stem, so that the through hole of the ball is perpendicular to the axis of the pipeline. The ball completely blocks the pipeline, preventing the fluid from passing through, and the valve is closed.
• Flow regulation: At any position between opening and closing, by controlling the rotation angle of the ball, the overlap area of the ball through hole and the pipeline can be changed, thereby accurately adjusting the flow of the fluid.
The parameters of PPH ball valves usually include the following aspects:
Nominal diameter
Refers to the nominal diameter of the inlet and outlet channels of the valve. Common specifications include DN15, DN20, DN25, DN40, DN50, DN80, DN100, etc., in millimeters.
Nominal pressure
Indicates the maximum working pressure allowed by the valve at the specified temperature. Common ones include PN1.0MPa, PN1.6MPa, PN2.5MPa, etc.
Applicable temperature
PPH ball valves are generally suitable for temperatures ranging from -20ºC to 100ºC, but the specific applicable temperature may vary depending on the material and manufacturing process.
Flow coefficient
Reflects the ability of the valve to pass fluid in the fully open state, usually expressed as Cv value. The larger the Cv value, the stronger the flow capacity of the valve.
Ball material
Usually PPH material, and composite materials such as PPH+PTFE may also be used according to special needs.
Valve seat material
There are PPH, PPH+PTFE, etc., to provide good sealing performance and corrosion resistance.
Drive mode
Including manual, pneumatic, electric, etc. Different drive modes are suitable for different working scenarios and control requirements.
Connection mode
Common ones include flange connection, threaded connection, clamp connection, etc., which are convenient for installation and connection with the pipeline system.
