PPH check valve is a valve with PPH (homopolymer polypropylene) as the main material, with unique performance and structural characteristics. The following is a description of it: PPH material has excellent corrosion resistance and can resist the erosion of various chemical media such as acids, alkalis, salts, etc. It also has good wear resistance, insulation and low density. It is also non-toxic and odorless, and meets the relevant standards of the food hygiene and pharmaceutical industries.
• Strong corrosion resistance
• Good sealing performance
• Low fluid resistance
• High performance
• Hygienic and environmentally friendly
• Long service life
• Light weight
The working principle of the PPH check valve is to use the flow pressure of the medium to realize the automatic opening and closing of the valve to prevent the medium from flowing back.
When the medium flows in the normal direction, the medium pressure pushes the valve disc, overcomes the resistance such as the spring force or the valve disc's own gravity, so that the valve disc opens and the medium passes smoothly. When the medium has a reverse flow trend, the medium pressure pushes the valve disc to move in the closing direction. Under the combined action of the spring force or its own gravity and the reverse flow medium pressure, the valve disc is tightly closed on the valve seat to prevent the medium from flowing back, thereby realizing the check function.
There are many parameters for PPH check valves. The following are some of the main parameters:
1. Nominal diameter: refers to the nominal inner diameter of the valve. Common specifications include DN15 - DN600.
2. Nominal pressure: such as PN1.0MPa, PN1.6MPa, PN2.5MPa, etc., which represent the maximum working pressure allowed by the valve at the specified temperature.
3. Applicable temperature: generally around -10ºC to 95ºC, within this temperature range, the valve can maintain good performance.
4. Material: The main material is PPH (random copolymer polypropylene), which has corrosion resistance and wear resistance.
5. Connection method: There are flange connection, clamp connection, threaded connection, etc. Different connection methods are suitable for different pipeline systems.
6. Sealing form: Common ones are soft seal and hard seal. Soft seal has good sealing performance, while hard seal is more wear-resistant and suitable for some special working conditions.
7. Drive mode: usually automatic, relying on the flow pressure of the medium to achieve opening and closing.
8. Flow capacity: It is expressed by indicators such as flow coefficient, reflecting the ability of the valve to pass the medium under a certain pressure difference.
