PVDF ball valves include floating ball valves, fixed ball valves, three-way ball valves, V-type ball valves, etc. Floating ball valves have a simple structure and good sealing performance; fixed ball valves are suitable for high pressure and large diameter occasions; three-way ball valves can realize the diversion or confluence of media; V-type ball valves have good adjustment performance.
Strong corrosion resistance: PPH materials have excellent chemical stability, good tolerance to most acids, alkalis, salts and other chemical substances, can resist the erosion of a variety of corrosive media, and are suitable for conveying corrosive liquids and gases.
Good high temperature resistance: It can be used for a long time at high temperatures, generally can withstand temperatures of about 100°C, and some specially formulated PPH materials can withstand higher temperatures and meet the needs of some high-temperature processes.
High mechanical strength: It has high tensile strength and impact resistance, can withstand certain pressure and external force impact, is not easy to break or damage, and ensures the safety and stability of the pipeline system.
Sanitary and non-toxic: PPH materials meet food hygiene standards, are non-toxic and harmless, and will not pollute the transported substances. They can be used in industries with strict hygiene requirements such as food, beverages, and pharmaceuticals.
Light weight: With low density, PPH pipes, pipe fittings and valves are much lighter than metal pipes, which are easy to carry, install and maintain, and can reduce construction difficulty and cost.
Good insulation performance: It has good electrical insulation performance and can be used in electrical and electronic fields to prevent problems such as current leakage and short circuit.
Long service life: Under normal use conditions, PPH pipes, fittings and valves have a long service life, which can reduce the frequency of replacement and repair and reduce long-term costs.
Once fitted the valve is turned 90°, the valve opens or closes. When the valve is open the ball's, hole is in line with the flow direction and closes when it is turned 90° by either a manual handle or by actuation. When the valve is open the lever handle should align with the pipe or flow and is perpendicular to the pipe when it is closed. This makes it easy to determine the position status of the valve.
As the ball opens and closes between the seats, they offer a wiping motion and clear suspended particles from the surface of the ball. It must be said that abrasive solids will damage the seats and the surface of the ball which will eventually cause leakage. Solid, stringy and fibrous material may prevent the ball from closing. The most common ball valve design is two way, which enables flow to travel from the inlet to the outlet. Three and four-way ball valves enable flow to travel in multiple directions.
