Structure composition
Valve body: Made of 304, 316 or 316L stainless steel, it has excellent corrosion resistance and strength, ensuring long-term stable use in an environment with strict hygiene requirements. Its inner wall is treated with standard electronic polishing, with a smooth surface and no medium accumulation area to prevent potential contamination.

Butterfly plate: Made of stainless steel, connected to the pneumatic actuator through the valve stem. The butterfly plate is circular in shape, and changes the fluid channel area in the valve body when rotating to achieve fluid on-off and flow regulation.

Valve stem: stainless steel, such as 304, 316, 316L, etc. The valve stem is embedded with a nylon bushing to reduce friction and make opening more flexible and easy. It serves to connect the pneumatic actuator and the butterfly plate, and transmits torque to realize the rotation of the butterfly plate.

Seal ring: Made of aging-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials such as silicone rubber, fluororubber, and polytetrafluoroethylene. These sealing materials can ensure good sealing performance of the valve, prevent medium leakage, and meet hygiene standards to avoid contamination of the medium.

Pneumatic actuator: uses purified and dry compressed air as the power source, converting the air source pressure into mechanical force. The internal piston moves under the action of air pressure, driving the valve stem to rotate, thereby controlling the opening and closing of the butterfly plate. It can be equipped with accessories such as a feedback device or a valve positioner to achieve instantaneous switching or continuous process control, and can also meet the needs of remote control or automatic adjustment.



Hygienic and clean: The part in contact with the medium is mirror-polished, with no dead corners or residues, which meets the hygiene standards of the food, pharmaceutical and other industries to prevent bacterial growth and contamination.

Rapid opening and closing: The butterfly plate can complete the opening and closing action by rotating 90°, with a fast response speed. Generally, it can be opened and closed in 2-3 seconds, and the medium can be quickly cut off or connected.

Easy operation: With the help of pneumatic drive, the operating torque is small, labor-saving and flexible, and automatic control and remote operation can be realized.

Butterfly valves are quarter-turn valves that are best used for the stop/start of media flow in pipelines. When the valve handle is turned 90°, it either opens or closes completely. Throttling can be a bit tough, but these valves can still be used for regulating purposes.
