PVDF pipe (Polyvinylidene Fluoride Pipe) is a high-performance thermoplastic pipe that is widely used in chemical, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, water treatment and high-purity fluid transportation with its excellent chemical resistance, high purity, high temperature resistance and mechanical strength.
Heat fusion welding: the most commonly used method, the pipe and fittings are heated by a specialized welding machine to form a seamless, high-strength connection that ensures a tight seal. Flange Connection: For systems that require frequent disassembly, the flange end is heat fusion welded to the PVDF pipe with PTFE gaskets for sealing. Threaded connection: small diameter pipes (≤ DN50), using threaded joints, need to pay attention to the sealing material (such as PTFE raw material tape). Electrofusion connection: suitable for complex space, fast connection is realized by heating of electrofusion sleeve.
Chemical resistance: it can withstand strong acid (such as concentrated sulfuric acid), strong alkali, organic solvents and halogens (such as chlorine, bromine), and is suitable for highly corrosive media transportation.
High temperature resistance: Long-term use temperature -40°C ~ +140°C, short-term resistance of 150°C, better than PP, PVC and other common plastic pipes.
High mechanical strength: impact resistance, pressure resistance (working pressure can be more than 1.6MPa), good flexibility, not easy to crack.
High purity & low precipitation: Comply with FDA, SEMI standards, suitable for ultra pure water (UPW), pharmaceutical grade fluid transportation, no risk of contamination.
UV & Weather Resistant: Outdoor use without additional protection, excellent anti-aging performance, service life of more than 20 years.
Flame retardant: High oxygen index (43%), self-extinguishing, suitable for places with strict fire prevention requirements.
Application Fields
Chemical industry: transportation of corrosive chemicals (acids, alkalis, organic solvents), waste acid treatment system.
Semiconductor/electronics: piping systems for ultra-pure chemicals such as high-purity water (UPW), etching solutions, photoresists, etc.
Water treatment: reverse osmosis (RO), deionized water (DI) systems, chlorine and ozone resistant environments.
Pharmaceutical/Food: Water for Injection (WFI), pharmaceutical solution delivery, FDA and GMP certified.
New energy: lithium battery electrolyte delivery, solar photovoltaic industry.
