Product Description

FRPP butterfly valve is a kind of valve that combines the characteristics of FRPP material and the structure of butterfly valve. It has unique advantages in many fields. 

Valve Body: Made of FRPP (Fibre Reinforced Polypropylene), which has high strength, good corrosion resistance and low thermal expansion coefficient. The valve body is designed with a circular passage to ensure smooth fluid flow.
 

Disc: The disc is the key component for controlling the flow. It is usually made of FRPP or other corrosion - resistant materials and is connected to the valve shaft. The disc can rotate around the axis of the valve shaft to control the opening and closing of the valve.
 

Seal Ring: Installed between the disc and the valve body, it is made of elastic materials such as rubber or fluororubber. It has good sealing performance and can effectively prevent fluid leakage.
 

Valve Shaft: Connects the disc with the actuator or handle. It transmits the torque to the disc to drive the disc to rotate. The valve shaft is usually made of stainless steel or other corrosion - resistant materials to ensure its durability.

 

Corrosion Resistance: The FRPP material used in the valve body and disc has excellent corrosion resistance to various acids, alkalis, salts and other chemical media. The working principle of the FRPP butterfly valve is based on the rotation of the disc. When the valve is in the open position, the disc is rotated to a position parallel to the direction of fluid flow, allowing the fluid to pass through the valve with minimal resistance. When the valve needs to be closed, the disc is rotated 90 degrees to a position perpendicular to the fluid flow direction, blocking the fluid passage and achieving the purpose of shutting off the flow.
