Cryogenic cut-off valve refers to the valve whose closing part (disc) moves along the center line of the valve seat. According to this movement form of the disc, the change of the valve seat opening is in direct proportion to the disc stroke. Because the opening or closing stroke of the valve stem is relatively short, and it has a very reliable cut-off function, and because the change of the valve seat port is in direct proportion to the stroke of the disc, it is very suitable for flow regulation. Therefore, this type of valve is very suitable for cutting off or regulating and throttling.
The small forged steel globe valve is the most widely used valve. It is so popular because the friction between the sealing surfaces during opening and closing is small, it is more durable, the opening height is not large, the manufacturing is easy, and the maintenance is convenient. Forged steel globe valve is suitable for medium and low pressure, and also suitable for high pressure. Its closing principle is that, relying on the pressure of the stem, the sealing surface of the disc and the sealing surface of the valve seat are closely adhered to prevent the circulation of the medium.
The forged steel globe valve only allows the medium to flow in one direction, and it is directional during installation. The structure length of the forging steel globe valve is greater than that of forged steel gate valve, while the fluid resistance is large and the seal reliability is not strong when operating for a long time.
