Working principle

• Swing check valve: When the medium flows from the inlet to the outlet, the pressure of the medium pushes the disc to overcome the resistance of the disc's own gravity and the sealing force, causing the disc to rotate around the shaft and open the valve. When the medium tries to flow backward, the pressure of the reverse - flowing medium and the disc's gravity cause the disc to close tightly against the valve seat, preventing the medium from flowing backward.
• Lift check valve: During forward - flow operation, the pressure of the medium lifts the disc along the center line of the valve body, compressing the spring (if equipped). The disc moves away from the valve seat, allowing the medium to pass through. When the medium flow stops or reverses, the spring force and the pressure of the reverse - flowing medium cause the disc to move downward and seal against the valve seat, blocking the reverse flow.
• Wafer check valve: As the medium flows in the forward direction, it pushes the disc to open. The disc rotates around the shaft at the bottom of the valve. When the medium flow direction changes, the disc is forced to close by the reverse - flow pressure, sealing the valve to prevent backflow.
