PVDF ball valve is a commonly used fluid control device, widely used in chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical and other fields. The structure of PVDF ball valve is simple, mainly composed of ball, valve seat, valve stem and valve body. The ball is located inside the valve body and is connected to the operating rod through the valve stem. When the operating rod rotates, the valve stem drives the ball to rotate, thereby realizing the opening and closing of the fluid.
The sealing performance of PVDF ball valve directly affects its use effect. The sealing surface between the ball and the valve seat needs to be precisely processed to ensure a good sealing effect. The sealing material generally uses polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) with good corrosion resistance, which has good chemical resistance and high temperature resistance.
In summary, PVDF ball valve realizes the opening and closing of fluid by rotating the ball, which is fast and simple. Its working principle is based on the rotation of the ball, and the on and off of the fluid is controlled by adjusting the rotation angle. When selecting and using PVDF ball valves, factors such as fluid pressure, temperature and sealing performance need to be considered to ensure its normal operation and reliability.
The working principle of the PVDF ball valve is as follows:
Open state:
When the operating lever is rotated to the open position, the valve stem drives the ball to rotate 90 degrees, so that the orifice of the ball is aligned with the pipeline, forming a channel, and the fluid can flow freely. At this time, the pressure of the fluid acts on the upper surface of the ball, so that the ball fits tightly with the valve seat, achieving a good seal.
Closed state:
When the operating lever is rotated to the closed position, the valve stem drives the ball to rotate 90 degrees again, so that the orifice of the ball is perpendicular to the pipeline, blocking the passage of the fluid. At this time, the pressure of the fluid acts on the lower surface of the ball, so that the ball fits tightly with the valve seat, achieving a good seal.
The working principle of the PVDF ball valve is based on the rotational movement of the ball. By rotating the ball, the opening and closing of the fluid can be easily achieved, which is fast and simple. In addition, due to the small contact area between the ball and the valve seat, the friction is relatively small, thereby reducing the need for operating force.
There are also the following points to note about the working principle of the PVDF ball valve:
Pressure of the fluid:
PVDF ball valves are suitable for fluid control under medium and low pressures, and the general working pressure is below 1.6MPa. Under high pressure, since the pressure of the fluid will exert a greater force on the ball and the valve seat, it is necessary to select more durable materials and structural designs.
Fluid temperature:
PVDF ball valves can work at higher temperatures, but the appropriate material needs to be selected according to the specific application. PVDF material has a high melting point and can withstand temperatures up to 150°C, but it is still necessary to pay attention to the sealing performance of the ball and valve seat at high temperatures.
