Triple offset butterfly valves are a type of valve that has three offset shafts. The first offset is the shaft offset from the centerline of the valve. The second offset is the shaft offset from the sealing surface. And the third offset is the cone angle offset from the sealing surface. The third offset consists of a conical angle on the sealing faces meaning the sealing faces only come into contact at the point of sealing.
