Safety valve (also known as pressure relief valve) automatically opens and closes according to the working pressure (working temperature) of the pressure system, and is generally installed on the equipment or pipeline of the closed system to protect the safety of the system. When the pressure or temperature in the equipment or pipeline exceeds the set pressure of the safety valve, the pressure is automatically released or cooled, so as to ensure that the pressure (temperature) of the medium in the equipment and pipeline is below the set pressure (temperature), protect the equipment and pipeline from working normally, prevent accidents and reduce losses.

Spring-type safety valve has the advantages of light and compact structure, high sensitivity, unlimited installation position and low sensitivity to vibration, so it can be used in mobile pressure vessels.
Safety valve is a protective device for boilers, pressure vessels and pressure pipelines, which is used to prevent the pressure in the pressurized equipment from exceeding the design allowable value, thus protecting the safety of the equipment and its operators.
Because the safety valve can act independently of any external energy source, it is often used as the last protective device for pressurized equipment. In this sense, its function cannot be replaced by other protective devices.
When the pressure of the medium in the pressurized equipment rises abnormally for some reason and reaches the preset value, the safety valve automatically opens and then discharges to prevent the pressure from rising further. When the pressure of the medium decreases due to the discharge of the safety valve and reaches another predetermined value, the valve automatically closes again to prevent the medium from being continuously discharged. When the medium pressure is at normal working pressure, the valve remains closed and sealed.
